Dealiteful is a hyperlocal deal app. Shops, stands and venues put a small beacon at their door; when you walk into range, your phone tells you what is on offer inside. One tap, and you are looking at the deal — not a feed of things nowhere near you.

Range is metres, not kilometres — so everything you see is somewhere you can already walk to. One beacon per location, or one per stand, aisle or floor. The phone listens; the beacon never learns anything about you.
How it works
Three steps, and one of them is walking.
Turn on location
Bluetooth scanning needs the location permission. The matching happens on your phone — no location leaves the device.
Get pinged
One notification the moment a deal is in range: what it is, where, and how long it lasts. Mute the categories you don't care about.
Save & redeem
Keep the good ones in Saved, then redeem the way that deal works — show it, get a code scanned, or open the shop's site. Every other offer at that location sits right underneath.
Nearby deals
Every deal is somewhere you can already walk to.
The Deals tab holds only what is in range right now, closest first, with a count of the beacons it can hear. Each card carries everything you need to decide on the spot — the photo, the offer, the time left, the walk.

A live countdown
Time left on every deal, turning urgent under an hour so you know whether to move.
Distance and directions
Metres, an address, and a route in your maps app — or a "you're here" pill when you already are.
Keep it for later
One tap sends a deal to Saved, with its validity attached, for the trip back.
Saved & redeem
Four ways a deal pays off.
Each offer carries its own action, so redeeming fits how the merchant actually works — from a card you show at the counter to a code their till can scan.
- Show it — a full-screen card for staff: the offer, the merchant, the hours.
- Barcode — scanned at the till like any other coupon.
- QR code — scanned to apply the discount, or to unlock a perk.
- Link out — more info about what you are looking at, or straight to the shop's site to buy.

Compare, for when the deal is a purchase.
Not everything you buy is on offer next door. The Compare tab — powered by Dealilah, our own price-comparison service — takes any product and returns the best online price with a buy recommendation, plus the shops near you that have it on the shelf and what you would save by walking there.
For merchants
Reach the person already outside your door.
A beacon costs less than one printed run of flyers and never goes stale. Publish a deal, set the hours it runs, and it appears only to people within range. One location or fifty, one beacon or one per aisle.
Privacy
Proximity, not surveillance.
Beacon detection runs entirely on your phone. A deal appears because a signal was in range — no location history is sent to us, sold, or turned into an advertising profile. Saved deals stay on your device, and every permission is yours to revoke.

iOS and Android classify Bluetooth beacon scanning as location access, so the system asks for the permission. Dealiteful uses it to hear beacons — the match is made on the device.
Will it buzz all day?
No. One notification per location per visit, muted categories stay muted, and you can switch notifications off and still browse deals by hand.
Does anything work without beacons nearby?
Compare does — it works anywhere. Nearby deals need a participating location within range.
The first beacons are going up. Be there when they switch on.
Early access gets you the app before launch and a say in which neighbourhoods light up first.
